Prior to serving in Congress, Representative Timmons worked as an attorney, entrepreneur and state senator in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Congressional candidate, he campaigned on protecting life, rebuilding the military, stopping illegal immigration and combating the national debt. In addition, Representative Timmons has voiced his support for term limits and pledged to serve no more than 6 terms in Congress.
