In addition to being a freshman member of Congress, Representative Reschenthaler is a lawyer who served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps and volunteered for duty in Iraq, and a former state senator. As a candidate for Congress, his policy priorities included national security, border control, immigration reform, and making the tax cuts from the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent.
