It’s hard to believe that we are more than halfway through the Up to Us competition. Our team here at Tufts feel like we are just starting to gain momentum on campus, much like the giant snowballs rolled down the hill Tufts proudly sits upon during the snowstorm last week.

Over the past two weeks, our coalition has grown and become more recognized throughout our campus. Professors have been asking what we have been up to. Friends are wondering what Up to Tufts is all about. We’ve been donning sunglasses, hats, and stickers, and quizzing people how much they know about the national debt.

And here we are. With only two weeks to go, we are at the steak and potatoes course of our competition. With some renowned speakers on their way to campus, our team is building our giant snowman. The pieces are all coming together. Heck, even Josh is doing everything he can to get a carrot for the nose and buttons for the eyes. Fingers are crossed. We think we can do it. Let’s just hope it all doesn’t melt!
